There are so many ways we can support the democratic process and election integrity.
Role Descriptions
Call Inactive Voters - Contact voters who are at risk of being dropped from the rolls — without their knowledge — if they miss a specified number of elections. Alert these voters to the issue and work with them to update their voter registration status. (from home)
Poll Observers - Watch for common voting barriers such as long lines, improper requests for voter ID, incorrect information given to voters, and aggressive or intimidating conduct, then escalate these issues to the lawyers at HQ to tackle. (at polling sites)
Early Vote Monitors - Assist voters outside of early voting locations. (in person)
Voter Hotline volunteers - Answer questions and provide or direct voters to needed voting information by phone. (from home)
Ballot Chase callers - Help voters complete and submit their absentee or mail-in ballots. Ballot Cure callers help voters fix and resubmit ballots that have been rejected. In both cases, volunteers are calling voters who want to vote and are grateful for the assistance. (from home)
